From now on, Blybahn automatically translates users' posts into seven languages. 🇪🇺 If your French friend writes in French, you simply read her post in your own language, based on your phone's language setting. Step by step, we're making Blybahn accessible to more and more Europeans, in their own language.
The translations come from Mistral AI, the French AI company. It was our first encounter with Mistral, and it turned out well. We tested extensively, including against ChatGPT and Claude, and Mistral's quality holds its own. A European app deserves European AI, and it's a bonus when it also works brilliantly.
The app itself is available in those seven languages too. And this is just the start of what we'll be doing with Mistral 😉
